The Three Parasites
A parasite grows by disguising its whispers as your inner voice.
The Physical
The kind you can point at. It lives in the body, feeds off what you feed it, and shows up as fatigue, cravings, fog, sickness you cannot trace. This is the one the herbalists have been shouting about, and they are right that almost all of us are carrying something. It is the easiest to name and the easiest to starve.
The Mental
This one gets in through a door that was kicked open by a significant emotion event. It does not feed on your body, it feeds on the replay: the pain that keeps replaying, the version of you that got hurt and never got up.
